Dr. Arthur Tang practices Directional Non-Force Technique® (DNFT®), a highly effective approach whose unique system of diagnosis and correction enables the practitioner to restore alignment to structures of the patient’s body. The DNFT® chiropractic adjustments include muscles, bones, discs, and connective tissues, and the adjustments help the body achieve balance and alignment with a thrust best described as a gentle impulse. With such corrections, a patient’s body can naturally lessen compensatory tensions and thereby relax. For more information on DNFT®, see dnftchiropractic.com/method.
Dr. Tang’s passion for DNFT® chiropractic is rooted in his own healing journey. At age eight, he had two head concussions that led to headaches, nighttime seizures, temporary vision loss, and a severe spinal curve (scoliosis). After brain wave measurements, a neurologist suggested seizure-reduction medication that had many side effects. DNFT® chiropractic care provided by Dr. Katie Griffin (retired) in Santa Cruz fully resolved the scoliosis within seven days, with all remaining symptoms gradually disappearing afterward without the use of medication. Dr. Tang is committed to helping people of all ages achieve optimal mobility and overall function using DNFT® methods. He is part of an elite group of DNFT® practitioners, and stays current with new DNFT® development taught by Christopher John DC.
